From the Theron for Congress site:
Our Founders could not have said it better when they said that we have been endowed by our
Creator with life—and you can count on me to protect it. I will protect life from your grandchild still only visible as a heartbeat or ultrasound, to those with disabilities, or your elderly grandma. I also agree with the people of Wisconsin who passed by large margins a state constitutional amendment to protect the sanctity of traditional marriage. I will continue to support an America where we strive to the goal of having our children grow up with a mom and a dad

Hi,

I am that undecided voter that both parties ignore during the primaries but seek during the election. I was leaning towards McCain until his "gas tax holiday" proposal made me question his judgement. His VP choice tipped me to Obama. Consider McCain's age and family medical history. President Palin???

Does either candidate understand that the federal gas tax should be at least doubled? And then increased each year by at least 10%?

But to deal with CO2 and imported energy we also need to expand nuclear. McCain is correct here, but Obama says while he does not support that, he does not oppose it. What does Tammy say? But how will more drilling reduce CO2 emissions? Leadership anyone?

My main objections to Republicans is their stand human embroyic stem cell research and abortion. Do we really need more unwanted babies?

Wisconsin's gasoline taxes are higher than average because until recently, our gas tax was indexed to inflation and as such, we didn't have to dip as often into the general tax fund to pay for our roads at the expense of non-drivers. Wisconsin's gax tax rate is not an example of "Government Profits", but of equitable transportation funding policy.

If Peter Theron doesn't understand the basics of Wisconsin policy how can he be trusted to understand enough National policy to be an effective representative?

The Mornin...er, Afternoon Scramble - 6/13/2008...

I have enough pseudophedrine in me to do another edition of Ask Egg, which combined with the fact that it’s Friday the 13th, means this thing’s late. Sorry about that. Hopefully this mega-edition of the Scramble will fix that.
