Can I play the “look who didn’t vote” game too? I’d love to play, but I want to take a look at Senator McCain’s voting record.
Let’s look at votes Senator McCain couldn’t be bothered to make:
HR3221: Vote to pass a bill that changes mortgage and property tax laws and extends energy tax credits.
HR 2642: G.I. Bill Expansion and Other Domestic Provisions.
S Amdt 4231 to S Con Res 70: To establish a deficit-neutral reserve fund for border security, immigration enforcement, and criminal alien removal programs.
HR 4040: Consumer Product Safety Commission Bill: Vote to expand the size, authority, and responsibilities of the Consumer Product Safety Commission and to establish new consumer product safety standards.
HR 3963: Children’s Health Insurance Program Reauthorization Act of 2007 (CHIP): Vote to pass a bill that reauthorizes and expands the State Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP) through 2012.

And here is a little history lesson about McCain………
John McCain has a remarkable record of leadership and experience that embodies his unwavering lifetime commitment to service. First elected to the U.S. House of Representatives from Arizona in 1982, John has led the fight for reforming Washington, eliminating wasteful government spending, and strengthening our nation’s armed forces.
John McCain’s reform agenda to reduce federal spending and lower taxes quickly elevated him to statewide office and he was elected to the United States Senate in 1986, after serving two terms in the U.S. House.
In the Senate, John continued to demand that Congress put an end to loopholes for special interests and fix the broken system in Washington that too often allows lobbyists to write legislation and members of Congress to waste taxpayer money. In November 2004, Senator McCain was overwhelmingly reelected with nearly 77 percent of the vote.

Lets see how long has Barack been a junior State Senator? Hmmm elected in Nov 2004. Not much time to get your feet wet before jumping in and being the leader of the free world.
He has been absent more than a junior state senator should be but more on that later.

If he wins he’ll make the role of “back bencher” a new, preferred standard for Democrat candidates for the Oval Office. Let’s face it: The old standard - having actually done something legislatively or in an executive office, ended up disqualifying many Democrat presidential candidates with voters because it revealed who they actually were.
Obama would like us to believe that he’s the new millenium’s version of the Kennedy “Camelot” legacy - a legacy that was very long in appearances but a ridiculously failed presidency.
And remember - Obama clearly prefers actually running against two people - McCain AND the President, because if he runs against McCain only, polling shows McCain will beat him, and it won’t be close.

The polls listed there have Obama ahead by an average of 3.7%, so I’d be curious to know what polls you’re looking at.

Bill Quick has a devastating Photoshop of the Supreme Court. The only things missing are the AK-47s and the suicide……
