Obama offer new start with Iran…..Reuters 3/20/2009

http://news.yahoo.com/i/578

Ok where do I even begin?  Lets start with a story. Now the story I am about to tell you may or may not be true, I will never tell.

When I was about 16 years old I lived at home with my mom and a girlfriend who was staying with us temporarily.  Well one night we decided that it would be a good idea to sneak out of the house and meet some boys to stay up all night and maybe watch the sunrise.   Well you probably know where this is going….yeah we got caught, and was grounded for a full month!   Was this a good idea?  No probably not but I never would apologize for it because I had the time of my life.  Now like I said I was grounded for a full month, a pretty good punishment.  I could have been hurt, going out after dark in all hours of the night.  Who knows what could of happened, therefore my punishment was strict.   My mother taught me that when you do bad things there are consequences.

So what is my point you are asking (as you are giggling)?

“The United States wants the Islamic Republic of Iran to take its rightful place in the community of nations. You have that right — but it comes with real responsibilities,” Obama said in an unprecedented video message released to Middle East broadcasters to mark Iranian New Year.
Hmmmm isn’t Iran the country that we proved was creating a nuke bomb?  Didn’t we extend recently the sanctions on this terrorist country?   The same sanctions that were only just applied within last few years!  Man if Momma O found me making a nuke bomb I think I might have been grounded for…..ever!  Why the heck does Iran deserve to be in the community of nations, that abide with global rules and laws?  What is next inviting Kim Jong-II to the Super Bowl and sit next to the president?  Wait!  Oh never mind.

“…that place cannot be reached through terror or arms, but rather through peaceful actions that demonstrate the true greatness of the Iranian people and civilization.”

Does he have any idea what the heck he is even talking about?  This is not his wife who he can “work things out” by talking and other peaceful actions.  IRAN DOESN’T KNOW WHAT PEACEFUL ACTION IS! May I remind our leader that this is the country that wants to wipe Israel off the place of the planet, Israel being our true ally?

This is exactly the garbage we conservatives warned everyone about.  Iran is a big child you can’t reason with them, they want nukes and we just need to wait for the next temper tantrum.  Hopefully the next one won’t be in our backyard.

Javanfekr said Iran welcomed “the interest of the American government to settle differences.” But he said the United States “should realize its previous mistakes and make an effort to amend them.”

Washington’s sanctions against Tehran were “wrong and need to be reviewed.” Its backing for Israel, Iran’s main enemy in the region, was “not a friendly gesture.”
Excuse me?   We made mistakes??

So let me get this straight.  If we decide to “make nice” with Iran what does that do with our relationship with Israel?  How did all of Wisconsin feel when it was thought that Brett Favre was going to the Vikings?  Boy what a traitor he was thought to be!

Mohammad Hassan Khani, assistant professor of international relations at Tehran’s Imam Sadiq University, described Obama’s message as a positive gesture but noted it came only a week after the extension of U.S. economic sanctions.

“This is somehow conflicting and making people here confused,” he said.

Your people are confused?  Half of America’s head is spinning with this little tea party Obama wants to have with Iran.

Rapprochement with Washington would reverberate through the Middle East — for example in Lebanon, where the Shi’ite movement Hezbollah, with a powerful guerrilla wing, is backed by Tehran.

What ever happened to we don’t negotiate with terrorist, terrorism, or nations that support terrorism?   Do you feel safe?  Not me!  What kind of message is our leader putting out?

Irresponsibility all the way around

Friday, March 20th, 2009 | Uncategorized | 1 Comment

One thing that some people don’t know about the bail out of AIG is how crazy congress is and all the underlying BS that happened with it.
I really only want to talk about the fact that Congress and our leader Obama knew about the bonuses prior to signing it.  That is right folks, they knew about the time frame, amount and how many would receive the bonuses.   So the question remains why would they be so indignant about the bonuses actually happening.  It is like being surprised that it is snowing in January in Wisconsin. We all know it is coming, we all know what happens when it comes.

So the basic question here is why? Here is what I think happened.  When they signed this they knew exactly what they were doing, they just didn’t think it would be a big deal. They wanted to be the heroes. When they realized it was going to happen they needed to go on the offense and not the defense.   They needed to appear outraged so that the focus didn’t fall on the fact that they sign this bill.  Like it is totally separate. I think they, and when I say they I mean democrats, knew that conservatives and republicans would never let this one go.  But because they went on the offense they hold the ball.  So what needs to happen now is conservatives and republicans need to voice there outrage about there irresponsibility.  Yes I think the tax on the single situation was the right move, it was showing corp America you can’t get a hand out and abuse it! AIG should of in good faith once they got the bailout stopped all the bonuses in the first place. We can’t do anything about the stupid bailout now just show the irresponsibility of the dems.  They are like drunk sailors on crack!

Ron Silver dies

Ron Silver, R.I.P; Flashback: Silver’s 2004 RNC speech
By Michelle Malkin • March 15, 2009 08:36 PM

The New York Post reports the sad news that actor Ron Silver has died. He succumbed to cancer. The 9/11 jihadi attacks were a pivotal moment in Silver’s political evolution from Hollywood liberal to Hollywood hawk: “‘I think there are September 10 people and there are September 11 people. I’m one of the latter. Everything changed for me. Since then I see everything through the prism of what happened that day,’ he says.”

Silver’s rare, brave voice in the entertainment industry will be missed. R.I.P.

The following are Silver’s remarks to the 2004 Republican National Convention:

I want to thank the President and the Republican Party for holding this event in my hometown, my father’s hometown, my grandfather’s and great grandfather’s birthplace.

Just over 1,000 days ago, 2,605 of my neighbors were murdered at the World Trade Center — men, women and children — as they began their day on a brilliantly clear New York autumn morning, less than four miles from where I am now standing.

We will never forgive. Never forget. Never excuse!

At the end of World War II, General Douglas MacArthur, Supreme Allied Commander of the South Pacific, said:

“It is my earnest hope – indeed the hope of all mankind – that from this solemn occasion a better world shall emerge out of the blood and carnage of the past, a world found upon faith and understanding, a world dedicated to the dignity of man and the fulfillment of his most cherished wish for freedom, tolerance and justice.”

The hope he expressed then remains relevant today.

We are again engaged in a war that will define the future of humankind.

Responding to attacks on our soil, America has led a coalition of countries
against extremists who want to destroy our way of life and our values.

This is a war we did not seek.

This is a war waged against us.

This is a war to which we had to respond.

History shows that we are not imperialists . . .but we are fighters for freedom and democracy.

Even though I am a well-recognized liberal on many issues confronting our society today, I find it ironic that many human rights advocates and outspoken members of my own entertainment community are often on the front lines to protest repression, for which I applaud them but they are usually the first ones to oppose any use of force to take care of these horrors that they
catalogue repeatedly.

Under the unwavering leadership of President Bush, the cause of freedom and democracy is being advanced by the courageous men and women serving in our Armed Services.

The President is doing exactly the right thing.

That is why we need this President at this time!

I am grateful for the chance to speak tonight to express my support for our Commander-in-Chief, for our brave troops, and for the vital cause which they have undertaken.

General Dwight Eisenhower’s statement of 60 years ago is true today . . .

“United in this determination and with unshakable faith in the cause for which we fight, we will, with God’s help, go forward to our greatest victory.”

Thank you.

Paul Ryan speaks at the AFP Defending the American Dream summit

Sunday, March 8th, 2009 | Uncategorized | 1 Comment

Milwaukee, WI

The leader of the new conservative movement Paul Ryan as he came into the building got gestures from the union thugs.  Boy that is not nice.

Paul mentions the evils of progressives.   And how these ideals are taking away our freedoms.  If we go down this path we will have socialism.  Cares more about welfare than free government.   The ambitions of government: double nation debt, 1.4 trillion tax increase(the regular people who will be affected by),  also but not limited to nationalise health care(there goes my job).  He invites you to go to Americanroadmap.com to fight progressives.  Need a grassroots efforts.  Need to get our country back.

Congratulations to the AFP winners of the Defenders of the American Dream Awards

Steve Moore from the Wall Street Journal is  always a good friend of AFP.  Now I have seen Steve several times but his message is always great.  He thanks God for Wall street ed, Fox news, and Rush!  “NO MORE BAILOUTS”.  He disagrees with the idea that we have a moral responsibility to raise taxes.  Go Steve Moore.  And again more on the wonderful stimulus.   Multiply factor is nonsense.  “Global warming is a farce.”

JB Van Hollen Wisconsin Attorney General always have a great speech.  The dept of Justice returned 1.2 million dollars to the state, now that is a super star.   Public safety has to be a priority.  Also noted was how he takes crimal illegals off the street.  Now that is something I can get behind.  Collecting 200 million dollars in stolen funds medicare ect…..

Phil the Truck driver another regular joe who is not going to take it any more, take your taxes and shove them where the son don’t shine!

Joe the Plumber was a very special guest at the AFP event.  Joe noted how politicians talk about how they are just like us.   Talks about the struggles of the regular problem.

“You can’t sell principles either you have them or not. The road is going to be long.  You have to be a do’er.  We have to stand up for our-selfs Washington is not going to do it. ” -Joe the Plumber

And next my hero Scott Walker, also known as Scott the tax cutter.  Scott Walker disagrees with people who say that we(Conservatives) should change our message.  We don’t need to change our message we need to stand up for our message.  Limited government lower taxes and less government mentioned by Scott from Ronald Reagan.  Remind the media congress, what Ronald Reagan did for our country after his predecessor.

Scott Walker is a ROCK STAR!

The beginning of the seminar started with the wonderful video which goes over AFP goals and events.   The colors were presented by the color guard from my home county Jefferson college Marantha  .  Next we had little Gracie Hanson doing our national anthem boy she is going to be a good little conservative.   Wisconsin’s AFP leader is Mark Block and has done a great job in keeping  the dream alive in Wisconsin.

Tim Phillips President of AFP presented some of our problems.  Some of the things he talked about were taxes, and how they are getting higher, loss of jobs, and bigger goverment.  WE HAD ENOUGH-Tim Phillips.  Don’t you dare raise our taxes! Caring about the generations to come and there problems that they will face.   Stimulus was also brought up which does not stimulate anything!   Also the scary new health care ideas which for me would make me lose my job.  AFP is going to fight this!  Thank GOD for AFP.   Earmarks 8500 earmarks in the bill. Seven billion dollars in earmarks, what the heck is America doing.  PORK PORK PORK! Even giving money for sustaining Las Vegas. …………….
